Initial set up
STEPS ONE AND TWO MUST BE COMPLETED WHILE YOU HAVE CELLPHONE RECEPTION – e.g. do this at home
1. Download Mycentsys Remote from the app/play store.
2. Complete the registration requirements (ensure you choose New Zealand)
3. Ensure that the phone number is entered in this format: 02X XXX XXXX. Do NOT enter it in international format or leave the leading zero off.
STEPS 3, 4, 5 and 6 MUST BE DONE WHILE IN FRONT OF THE BARING HEAD BRIDGE GATE
3. Open the app
4. Click the +smart device.
5. App will scan for the motor, once found press the + button to add.
6. Once added you will have the access to the gate.
Opening the gate
1. When you arrive at the gate within 15 metres
2. Open the App
3. Press open/close
4. The gate will open
5. The gate will close automatically behind you after 30 seconds

· Access is linked to your phone number and vehicle registration. This is non-transferable and breaching this risks termination of access.
· You may access between 6am and 9pm.
· No dogs are permitted at Baring Head.

Frequently asked questions
What if I change my phone number?
Your access is linked to your phone number. You will need to update the Declaration Form
Please note that it will take up to two weeks for this change to take effect.
What if I use a different vehicle?
Access is monitored by video – please update the declaration form.
What if it does not work?
There will be after hours support via GW Contact Centre: 0800 496 734. They will be able to assist you if any issues arise.
Do I need mobile phone reception to operate the gate?
No. You need to be at the gate within 15 metres.
Can I allow my friends to access Baring Head?
Your gate access is not transferable. You must be part of any group entering using your access. You must never allow anyone else to use your gate access.
What time of day can I access Baring Head?
You may access Baring Head between 6am and 9pm.
Can more than one vehicle enter?
Only vehicles registered with Greater Wellington Regional Council may enter Baring Head. Allowing other vehicles to enter is a breach of both the conditions of access and Park bylaws. There is a safety beam that will respond if a vehicle or person is in the way of the gate to prevent it closing.
